DOLORES Geneva, a Cyberpunk mural Tribute to Mucha
Year after my intervention for “Plein-les-Watts festival”, I had the privilege of collaborating with WallsStreet in Geneva to create a new mural titled “Dolores”. This piece pays tribute to my artistic inspiration, Alfons Mucha, and incorporates cyberpunk elements to explore the interplay between past and future.
“Dolores” merges Mucha’s iconic Art Nouveau style with futuristic cyberpunk motifs. This fusion reflects on how we maintain our humanity amid technological advances. The mural features Mucha’s classic elegance alongside mechanical components, prompting viewers to consider the impact of technology on identity and individuality.
The cyberpunk genre often raises questions about technology’s role in our lives. Through “Dolores”, I aim to spark discussions about how we engage with emerging technologies while preserving our essence. This project has been deeply meaningful, and I hope “Dolores” inspires reflection on how new technologies take place in our lifes.

Dolores is part of an ongoing exploration of the relationship between technological evolution and human identity. Through the visual language of street art, the mural combines historical artistic references with contemporary concerns about innovation, digital culture and the future of society.
The influence of Alfons Mucha is immediately visible in the composition. His characteristic Art Nouveau aesthetic, known for elegant female figures, decorative details and flowing lines, serves as the foundation of the mural. Rather than reproducing this style directly, the artwork reinterprets it through a contemporary lens shaped by science fiction and cyberpunk culture.
The cyberpunk elements integrated into the mural introduce a visual contrast that reinforces the central theme of transformation. Mechanical structures, technological components and futuristic details coexist with organic forms, creating a dialogue between the natural and the artificial.
This interaction between organic and mechanical elements is a recurring aspect of my artistic practice. The question is not whether technology exists, but how it influences identity, perception and social interactions.
Geneva provides an interesting context for these reflections. As an international city associated with innovation, diplomacy and global exchange, it offers a relevant setting for a mural that examines the intersection of culture, technology and human values.
The title “Dolores” refers to a singular character designed as a symbolic figure rather than a narrative portrait. She embodies the coexistence of vulnerability and resilience, tradition and innovation. Through her hybrid appearance, she becomes a visual representation of contemporary questions about what it means to remain human in a rapidly changing technological world.
The collaboration with WallsStreetGVA contributed to the development of a project that engages directly with public space. Large-scale murals allow complex ideas to become accessible to a broad audience, encouraging reflection outside traditional cultural institutions.
The use of spray paint enabled the creation of detailed textures and contrasts that support the fusion of Art Nouveau influences and cyberpunk aesthetics. The monumental scale of the mural reinforces its visual impact while allowing viewers to discover multiple layers of detail.
