BEGINNING OF CELLOGRAFF 2006

CelloGraff / The goal is to create new display spaces within the city. I decided to connect various pieces of street furniture to reveal previously unused volumes; the resulting surfaces became canvases for expression. The abundance of elements in our daily urban environment gave rise to a multitude of shapes. These new surfaces altered the behavior and paths of residents by capturing their attention. Such spaces for spontaneous expression could give rise to hundreds of different interventions—all of them “poetically correct.”

This marked the inception of the CelloGraff concept; starting in 2009, Kanos along with Astro further developed the idea, adapting it specifically for graffiti.
